2024 NFHS Rule Changes
-Uniform Numbers must be a single-solid color that clearly contrasts with the single-solid color of the jersey. All jerseys must be the same color tone as all the others.

2023 NFHS Rules Changes
-Only the Team A Player who receives the snap my throw a forward pass away from out of the pocket & across the Line of scrimmage and not have intentional grounding called --Rule 7-5-2 Exception 2a,c.
-Most Fouls committed by Team A or B behind the line of scrimmage, without a qualifier, are now enforced from the previous spot --Rule 10-4, 6.
-The definition of a defenseless player has been clarified to include a Team B defender attempting to intercept a forward pass. A list is now included in Rule 2-32-16d & 9-4-3g.
-Rule 2-29-1 clarifies when a player is re-established inbounds after going out of bounds.
-Rule 1-5-3a(5)a4,5 has been changed so that players may use any color towel provided it is a single solid color, not brown nor penalty flag colored, & has no logos on it other than a manufacture's logo that is no larger than 2-1/4 inch square. The towels must continue to be no smaller than 4x12-inches and no larger than 18x36-inches.
-The unsportsmanlike conduct provision for Intentional pass interference has been removed from Rule 7-5 Penalty.
